What’s the quickest way to get a court order for drug testing for a child welfare custody dispute?

Question by Dr. Fk n Stuff KIA GCG ;: What’s the quickest way to get a court order for drug testing for a child welfare custody dispute?
We know baby mama has a drug problem. The problem is, we know if she gets the heads up that she is being drug tested and if she is given enough time, she’ll clean up her act temporarily. Is there any way to get a drug test ordered quickly, because we know she has used at least, valium, oxys and marijuana within the last week.
and to all you marijuana lovers, don’t get all up in arms, i dont’ care about it, i only care because its one of the many drugs this idiot is doped up on, on a regular basis while she should be caring for my stepdaughter
For now we’d like to keep CPS out of it, i hear once they are in your life both the mother and father go under a microscope. We have nothing to hide, but we don’t want them up our butts.
Yes Kiersten, she uses around the baby, shes on pills everyday. And that in its own right is unfit according to the law where I live.

Is this being selfish or looking out for what’s best for me and my mental health?

Question by blue_bipo2: Is this being selfish or looking out for what’s best for me and my mental health?
I was diagnosed with bipolar type 2 ,years ago. I’ve had many ups and downs and, I am now trying my best to live with my illness. I take my medication regularly, but everybody knows that medication is only one part of the recovery. Therefore, I participated in outpatient information courses to help me learn my triggers, control my moods by using mindfulness and many other skills I apply to my life in order to be a better person. I do therapy twice a month and do allot of self analyzing in order to “reprogram” my brain the “good” way. I know that dealing with a bipolar person is not the easiest thing to do…heck , sometimes I can’t even stand myself!! And even though I constantly work hard on my mental health, I’m still faced with the usual ups and downs of this condition. I do not consider myself perfect (and never pretended to be either), in fact: I know my flaws and I am trying to corect them the best way I can.
So, I’ve been going out with the same guy (on and off) for the past 3 yrs. We’ve had our ups and downs and lately, it was only getting worst. He go into some legal problems last year and was charged with some criminal stuff that he is trying to fight in court. His attitude had gotten very negative and he’d became verbally aggressive. He puts me down and manipulates me by saying that no one will put up with my mood swings and that he really loves me to endure it… Every time I need his support, whether it’s physically/emotionnally or psychologically, he brushes me off and doesn’t care. I love him alot so, I tried talking to him about how I was unhappy in the relationship, but instead of trying to work at reparing our relationship, he turned every thing around by pointing out all of my flaws and saying how I’m awfull.
This week, he lost his job, because like i said he has a bad attitude. He has a problem with authority and not being the one in control. He was constantly yelling at his boss…telling him how stupid and incompetent he is and how he can’t deal with being surrounded by idiots and wishes he could “blow up” his work place. He had gotten prior suspensions for the same reasons but, he just wouldn’t change his attitude! Now, for the past days, he’s been complaining at how life is so unfare with him and how he always gets bad stuff for no reason…and I finaly lost it!!
I told him that he had a serious attitude problem and that he had brought this onto him. That he never took any advice from others and the reason his life is so bad is because he refusses to follow rules and thinks he’s “god” and that every body should do as it pleasses him. I told him i couldn’t handle his problems on top of mine, and that I had tried to be there for him but, he’d rather blame every body else on earth except himself. We got into a big argument and, i finaly told him I didn’t want to be in this relationship anymore. That I loved him alot but, I just wasn’t happy anymore. That it was already hard for me to stay possitive and on top of things and now, he was trying to grab me down with him and I couldn’t do/stand it anymore. Of course, he proceded to yelling at me (for hours) and telling me how I was awfull, selfish, etc. and I did some yelling also and went overboard!
Now, I feel really bad and guilty. I hate hurting others and especially the ones I love. I’ve never been the type of person to break things off in a relationship. I tried every other alternative to fix our relationship but, it was becomming apparent to me that it would never change (cause he didn’t want to change for anybody). I realy feel awfull…like I have kicked him while he was at his lowest and I’m affraid of how he might react (he treatened me by saying he wasn’t going to accept loosing me so easely cause I was the only thing giving him the will to continue in life…) I know the relationship was unhealthy for me, but I’m an not used to thinking about my needs and I can’t help but feel selfish and guilty of being a mean/bad girlfriend…I still care about him and love him, but I just can’t handle it anymore…
When is it considered ok to be selfish? Did I do what was the best thing to do, or was I being inconsiderate? Am I really selfish, or is this finaly the stand I should have taken months ago?
Please help me out, my guilt is killing me!!
PS: sorry for making this out to be NOT a short question !! :O

Q: When is it considered ok to be selfish?
When that selfishness neither harms yourself nor others and when it is healthy.
Q: Did I do what was the best thing to do, or was I being inconsiderate?
Personally I think that your timing was really bad, its bad enough loosing your job, but also loosing a relationship at the same time can be devastating. Hopefully he will get back onto his feet and find another girlfriend soon.
Q: Am I really selfish, or is this finaly the stand I should have taken months ago?
You should have done this months ago.

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio has come up with the cure for DMX’s addiction to jail. The hip-hop star and repeat offender, like all of Arpaio’s other inmates in the Maricopa county jail, must wear pink t-shirts, underwear and socks.
The girlie wardrobe colors caught DMX by surprise. “This is ridiculous, this is disrespectful,” DMX said with a sarcastic laugh during an interview with My Fox Phoenix. “Why the pink?”
Sad for him? yes but a question occurs..

whats your opinion on the drug war?is it working?

Prohibition does not prevent cannabis use by children or the mentally ill, the vulnerable populations whom we supposedly want to protect. Instead, cannabis prohibition makes it more difficult for parents, patients, society, doctors and law enforcement to control cannabis use.
The Drug War makes honest education about cannabis impossible, and leaves cannabis users marginalized in ways that make their lives more stressful.
This stress is unhealthy for everyone, but it is certainly most damaging to people with schizophrenia.
Cannabis prohibition is not merely a failure; it is a counterproductive fraud that is harming those whom we claim we want to protect.
There are currently more teens in treatment centers for marijuana in comparison to those admitted for alcohol.
Only an idiot would have to ask why alcohol is not the no#1 problem
after all alcohol is perfectly legal ( If you are 21.)
That is due to responsible people handling alcohol by way of the carding and id system.
Contraband markets make no age disgression.
Since the crackdown on tobacco there are 75% fewer teens trying or using tobacco.
However when it comes to cannabis and other illicit substances it’s a whole
other ball game.
Control, regulation and better education work prohibition, dose not.
Or as John Walters of the ondcp (Office for national drug control policy) calls it “ a war on drugs” (Sorry John but it’s true look at the Netherlands)
America loves a war even if it is on it’s own people.
One of several reason they don’t legalize drugs is not because of the harm of drugs,
But people would lose more money in the long run.
Some of the people behind the support of this irrational so called war are
The tobacco industry,
the alcohol and distilled spirit industry ( people simply don’t drink as much, or decide not to drink at all with cannabis meaning a decline in there sales.
The pharmaceutical corporations can not make money on whole or raw cannabis, but they can charge an arm and a leg for there synthetic Marinol (dronabinol) CIII.
The textile and paper industry would lose out from hemp production, sinse hemp dose not need to go through all the various processes that ordinary tree products would. Also it’s possible to get two harvest in one season.
However people don’t know the difference between industrial hemp and smokeable cannabis, yet they are able to distinguish between the two in other country’s like Germany, the UK , Netherlands and even Canada, but our `DEA agents are so dumb they cant tell the difference between a stalk and a bush.
Also people who have any knowledge of growing high quality cannabis will tell you that male plants should never be grown next to your high grade female plants,
(unless of course you want to pollinate for future seed production).
When it comes to farming hemp the males are left in tact to pollinate the females and produce as much seed as possible.
This would mean a seedy mess for the pot smoker to clean up and produce undesirable future generations of smokeable cannabis.
If anything, Hemp farming would be anti marijuana and would harm any outdoor pot farming within a one mile radius of any hemp farm.
The petroleum industry would also be affected, sinse almost everything that can be made from petroleum can be synthesized from hemp oil, everything from bio fuel to even plastics. If North America would use a third of it’s land for hemp production we could create enough bio fuel to supply an area the size of Canada.
Now also for a moment consider how many people are incarcerated over just cannabis who are currently in the prisons and jails.
If cannabis were legalized and all inmates serving time for cannabis were freed there would be an over abundance of empty cells, and millions of guards in this country would be no longer needed.
The prison building industry would almost be obsolete ( and if all drugs were legalized that would mean even more empty cells).
So the prison system must have some means of gaining more inmates.
Not to mention other areas such as treatment centers, probation.etc
or HIDTA high intensity drug traffic areas where money is fed in to law enforcement,
(they would miss there green $$$)
Drugs , not even alcohol are the cause of the fundamental ills of society, rather than checking people for the presence of drugs, they should first test people for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power.

What’s the greatest evil drug prohibition or drug addiction?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on April 26, 2010
Drug prohibition increases the price of illegal drugs which makes traffick very profitable which creates drug related violence which funds terrorism which puts in jail 80% of jail inmates who then learn how to be better dealers and progress in their careers to bigger more violent crimes.
Drug addiction is a personal curse but if drugs were cheap there would be no need to resort to crime to get them and the consequences would be much less extended to society than the consequences of drug prohibition.
I’m on probation for six months. Four months in I fail a drug test. Whats going to happen?

I was put on probation for Larceny from a motor vehicle aka Car hopping. My father had told them I smoked pot before so they had court ordered rehab. So i’ve been participating in that and passing all of my drug tests. Just recently I failed a drug test through rehab and obviously its going to be sent to my probation officer. What will my probation officer do? Are the original charges going to be put through? Do I get a freebe? Give me details if you can.
PS. you dont need to tell me about not smoking in the first place and I hope you learned your lesson. I know i fucked up. I’m stupid for that. So really, dont explain that to me.
