How should I approach my possession of alcoholic beverage under the age of 21 charge?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on April 27, 2010
A few weeks ago I was at a football game and I was stopped by a cop who asked for some ID. I had been holding an empty can so I ended up getting an “on-site” arrest, which basically was a written report & a mandatory appearance in court.
I considered hiring an attorney but I’m not sure if its even worth it. On the other hand one of the biggest penalties is a 3 month A.A course which I do not want on my plate. I spoke to a friend that got the same charge and they decided they are just going to go to court. I would like to just receive a few hours of community service and maybe a fine but I’m not sure how the court process works. Do I plea no contest?
Yes, I did something stupid. I don’t get in trouble like this and I’m not looking for a lecture. (I think an arrest was a slap on the wrist enough) Hopefully I can get some honest legal information from someone about how I should go about my court date/charge.
Thank you.
********This was in hillsbourogh County, FL
would you force (court order ) your child under 21 with a heroin/crack problem into rehab ?

First off i know you cant make a person want to quit or get help .But there has to be a limit to where as a parent we wanna prevent our children from hitting that rock bottom .i seen a man on a show today say he wont have his 19 year old crackheroinn addicted daughter committedd because it would hurt him and sh would be mad at him. Screw that for me not EVERYONE if the child is that you legal age or not im gonna let them hate me and do what has to be done.what would you do ? Not saying one way is wrong verses another way .
Just a side note a person over 18 can legally placed in rehab by a parent spouse or family member if the person is declared incompatent or a harm to them selves or others or if in the majority of cases there is an underling of self medicating for something like a Dual diagnosis occurs when someone has both a mental disorder and an alcohol or drug problem.
SK its easier to get drugs in prison than on the streets its more profitable..
General Under Honorable Conditions Discharge?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on February 10, 2010
I have been Discharged out of the United States Army for six months, I’m looking at getting my Chapter 13 Discharge upgraded.
Upon inspection of AR 635-200 Chapter 13, I did not meet the proper applicability requirements, also the proper rehabilitation measures were not issued.
At the end of AR 635-200 Chapter 13, (which is available at the link provided)
http://dont.stanford.edu/regulations/regulation27.pdf
there is a form that is to be signed by the individual being counseled (Me), which I recall signing.
Does this mean that I agreed to the above statements?
If these actions were not taken in accordance to AR 635-200 Chapter 13, can I get a discharge upgrade; or upon signature of the individual being counseled do I forfeit my rights to have my discharge appealed and upgraded to a Honorable Discharge?
I am trying to work towards getting the GI Bill.
Thank you for your replies, again I am asking a question though, not can you give me links to a file that I have in my possession already..
can someone over 18 (under 21) be forced into rehab?

i have a family friend that has been in and out of rehab for cocaine and heroin and is now over 18… is there any way to get court ordered rehab for this person(texas)? she recently got a dui and is under 21. i know texas has a zero tolerance for that. will she be put on probation? or will the just take her license from her? i know for a fact that she would fail a drug test if she was put on probation. what can her family do… they tried once to put her in rehab after turning 18 but she checked out right way.
thanks in advance for any help you can lend.
