I think she said Key? I tried to look it up and cannot find anything – does anyone know what this means?

Meth, like many drugs, can be in powder form.
Drug users at concealing their habits. Many don’t want to walk around in clubs with pipes and butane lighters or spoons and straws. So they use things that everyone carries to get their drugs into them. A common item is a key, any key. They dip the key into the powder. Some powder gets caught in the edges of the key and they snort it off the key. Beats snorting off a dirty toilet seat.

My sister in law is 21 and and i think that she still has a meth problem my boyfriend just found out last month ,at first he did not want to tell me that she had the problem ,but i already new of it by the way that she was acting. When i was younger in my life i had a drug problem that was really bad, and i got it from my mom. My mother was a meth addict most of my life, so i know the sings and i could see them by the actions that she was making not only that a a lot of people were telling me that she was using to.
When i fist suspected i told her mother that lives out of state she did not want to hear it not her girl she would not tuch that stuff my boyfriend and her dad is a big user and so we thought that she would not want to become like her father that she say’s she hate’s becuase he is a tweeker in her eyes well back to what the real problem is my boyfriend and their mother don’t want to see the big problem she has to get help before she hurts herself we have a son that just loves her to death, but if she continues to use meth then i may want to put my foot down and not allow her see my son if she dose not get help the big problem she dose not know that her brother told me about it what do i do to help her with out getting people mad at me? I love my sister in law and only want to help her before it’s to late. what can i do?

See if there is a Nar-Anon group meeting near where you live and see if you can get help from others who also love someone with a drug problem.

It is not illegal to go into rehab or even to say you have used drugs – the police have to catch you with drugs or paraphernalia or DUI, etc. to do legal stuff. However, going into rehab may catch the eye of child protective services if you have kids.

I was very recently busted for possession and have court ordered drug testing, I’ve heard that it takes 40 days for marijuana to leave your system if you were a heavy smoker, which i was. The problem is I took a piss test today, and have to take another in 13 days to “determine if I have a problem with drug abuse.” I have stopped smoking entirely and don’t want to lose my chance at a diversion, what am I supposed to do?

Stay clean and show up for testing when you’re supposed to, with no excuses. The people who administer and read the tests are well aware of how long the drug remains in your system.

How do I go about solving this statistics problem?

I am not asking for the answer to this problem. I would just like to know how to go about solving it. I have a TI-83 plus calculator (I know this problem requires the use of a calculator in order to perform the test), so it would be helpful if you could refer to that or a similar calculator. Once again, I am not asking for the answer and am not trying to have others do my homework for me. I truly want to learn how to do this. Thank you for your help.

I just got out of a 90 day rehabilitation center in Jasper. I had a bad problem with meth and ampetamines(adderall), i was sober for almost 120 days and here recently i have went back to my old habits, lying, stealing, doing anything to get high. I am constantly seeking my next high. I am court ordered to attend NA meetings and attend an outpatient rehab every monday and thursday, there i get randomly drug tested, if i fail im goin back to rehab, but now im wondering if maybe it’s the best thing before i end up dead?

How to help a friend with a drinking problem?

My friend has a drinking problem. He is in complete denial that this is a problem. I have known him for over 20 years and I really want him to see what he is doing to himself. He thinks that because he doesn’t drink every day it is not a problem. He drinks 4 or 5 days a week and some times disappears on drinking binges. I don’t know how to help him see what he’s doing to himself. He has been ordered by court in the past to alcohol treatment but sees it as a punishment forced for no good reason. I live in northeast Illinois, does anyone know of a good treatment program to help him see what he’s doing to himself?
If my baby’s dad won’t get treatments for his alcohol problem, will there be a chance I can get full custody?

My baby’s dad is an alcoholic and I know his liver is damage from his drinking, not only that I got an PFA on him for his abuse on me. I don’t want to hurt him with the baby I just want the courts to help me to order him to get treatments for his alcohol, depression and there is a chance that he is bi-polar. He is not ready to be a dad but he did watch my other son, while I worked on the weekends. The only bad side is he left my son home alone so he can go to the bar to drink and that is when the abuse started. I had to come home from work and did not make money because of his drinking. I want him to have supervised visitations because he will drink if he does not have his visitations supervise and with his drinking he will not be able to care for our baby. I going to file full sole custody of the baby next month so when the baby is born my attorney can schedule a hearing date for custody. Should I file child support in the baby’s dad’s condition. He has threaten suicide on me.

I have a relative who thinks his drinking/weed smoking is ok. WELL, maybe so; but, he was arrested and has to go to court-ordered classes. He keeps testing dirty for weed and they are threatening him with JAIL and/or in-patient treatment.
QUESTION: If he didn’t have a problem, couldn’t he have PUT ALL THAT DOWN until he finished his court case?
the arrest was for possession during a traffic stop.

Ok, first of all she was court ordered to pay child support in 2005 she has not paid a dime, she has not helped with any clothes, supplies or anything they need. Also she has been in and out of their lives 3 diffrent occasions and wants to come back again since she left in Dec, the begining of Dec. She has not been around for none of the christmas’s very few of their birthdays and I am sick and tired of her doing this to my children they are my babies that I love very much I cant not stand for them to be hurt anymore. I want her to sign her rights over or start paying her child support, I would really just like her to go away for good. Since Dec, she has went to court ordered rehab, she is a dead beat, and she is not good for the children. Someone please help as of right now she has legal rights to see them under the supervision of me and my husband, we dont want this, we do not want her to hurt them anymore. I need help please, please advise us on what to do

I have been married since my senior year of high school….four years later, I love him more than I ever thought possible. I could never see myself with anyone else, ever. He’s my best friend. He has had my back and been there for support since day one. But for the past year and a half I have come to realize I am either and alcoholic or a girl who needs counseling and needs to back of the alcohol all together until I am sure I know who I am. For now I am so far lost its rediculous. I don’t know who I am and I am never happy-ever. I have low self esteem and I am angry quiet a bit, for no reason that I can think of. I was arrested for demestic battery, I was drunk to the point that I don’t even remember most of the night. I called the police on myself when I hit him. I am a nasty and angry drunk. I am ashamed of myself for who I seem to be at this time in my life. I have a beautiful life a beautiful husband and daughter. I don’t have health insurance, but I am trying my hardest to get help, example, aa, even though it is mandatory bc I am ROR….I am really trying for more than just a signature at the end of a meeting….I want to make my husband proud, everything that I just described about myself is not what my husband deserves, its the first time I have been arrested for anything….and will be my last (not a nice place-no joke) But its not the first time I have been drunk to the point of becoming a whole different person. This is the screw up that I always repeat….I’m wanting to ask opinions…..advice….I love my husband with all of my heart, I don’t know if this was my ‘last chance’ to save our marriage….I might have really done it this time. I plan on getting better truly and honestly I do and I know its going to be one of the hardest things that I will have to commit to, but I don’t know what the future is going to be, I don’t know for a fact if I wont mess up again, should I leave my husband even if he doesnt want the marriage over? I really do love him enough to let him go….I don’t want to hurt him anymore….he never deserved it…..I dont even have faith in myself anymore, I wanna be a better me, my own family doesnt want me and for godsake…why is my husband still here with open arms to help me and love me….I am so confused…….

Okay, I have problem that is really getting on my nerves and at this point I’m getting really sick and tired of it. I have an alchoholic dad. This problem have been with me since as long as I can remember. What should I do? I’ve tried everything. I tried talking to him (when he’s sober), I yelled at him thinking that If I expressed my anger towards him about his drinking that he might think twice about ever drinking again. That didn’t work. I also tried to ignore him but every time I do, it just makes it worse because I’m afraid that he might commit suicide when I’m working and he’s alone in the house. I also tried telling him that if he goes to an alcoholic anonymous program it might help him by not drinking ever again. But still, that didn’t work either. I’m seriously running out of ideas on what to do with him. I’m thinking of just running away or something with the rest of my family but again I’m afraid he might do something stupid if you know what I’m mean. What should I do?

First off i know you cant make a person want to quit or get help .But there has to be a limit to where as a parent we wanna prevent our children from hitting that rock bottom .i seen a man on a show today say he wont have his 19 year old crackheroinn addicted daughter committedd because it would hurt him and sh would be mad at him. Screw that for me not EVERYONE if the child is that you legal age or not im gonna let them hate me and do what has to be done.what would you do ? Not saying one way is wrong verses another way .
Just a side note a person over 18 can legally placed in rehab by a parent spouse or family member if the person is declared incompatent or a harm to them selves or others or if in the majority of cases there is an underling of self medicating for something like a Dual diagnosis occurs when someone has both a mental disorder and an alcohol or drug problem.
SK its easier to get drugs in prison than on the streets its more profitable..
