Is juvenile court supervision less serious than probation?
Posted by admin in Court Ordered Rehabilitation on November 17, 2011
Question by Will: Is juvenile court supervision less serious than probation?
I was ordered 6 months random drug tests and 12 months court supervision. At the court I was told that the only requirment of my court supervision was that I don’t get arrested again. Is this traditionally how court supervision works? The drug test court order expired 5 months ago and I haven’t talked to anyone at the courts since.

just don’t get arrested, that’s all there is to it…

Q&A: Does the probation dept. have to provide an interpreter for a class ordered by a judge? ?
Posted by admin in Court Ordered Rehabilitation on August 13, 2010
Question by Mike: Does the probation dept. have to provide an interpreter for a class ordered by a judge? ?
With the ADA laws, I’m just wondering if the probation department is required to provide a sign language interpreter to a legally deaf individual for a drug and alcohol class that was ordered to be taken by the judge? Based on my understanding of the ADA I believe that they do.
Best answer:
Answer by hotwheels122298
correct under the ADA they should be required to provide an interpreter. but also do some research on the rehabilitation act of 1973 (i believe that is the date) do some research on that and then bring that up and THEN you will get what you need because under THIS act if they say they are not required under the ADA they ARE required under that specific act.
(i going to school to be a sign language interpreter..and i actually just learned this yesterday)

I have an arrest warrant in Colorado for a DUI probation violation. What should I do?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on July 3, 2010
I got in a misdemeanor DUI wreck in 2005 in Weld County, Colorado. I received some fines and was ordered 2 years probation with alcohol counseling and random breath tests. I paid all my fines but never showed up for the treatment. I am from Kansas and had just moved to Colorado when I got in my DUI wreck. No one was hurt, I was the only vehicle involved.
I moved back home to Kansas about a year and a half ago, and naively assumed that since I had paid my fines the court might not come after me. I now have a warrant for my arrest.
I need to know what I should do. I am thinking about taking a bus to Colorado and turning myself in, but I am completely broke and can’t afford an attorney. I am trying to join the military, which is why I’m looking into this now.
What will happen to me if I just go turn myself in? I was originally given 90 days in jail but they let me off on probation.
PLEASE HELP! Let me know what legal actions I should take, and what to expect. THANK YOU!!
my probation period was two years. the warrant came out 1 month after the probation was to have ended.
Ok two additional things- What will happen to me if I ignore this and go on living life as normal? Will the marshals come get me or something?
Also, I am extremely serious about wanting to join the military. Could someone with some legal knowledge let me know if this might have any bearing on my situation?
