How did T.I. get off with a year in a minimum security prison, then get moved to a halfway house?

Idk about wherever he got caught, but in Florida having a concealed firearm illegally is 5 years. And machine guns in the hands of a felon is 15 minimum I think.

I’m a big fan of T.I. but I just want to know how he got off with such a ridiculous sentencing. He’s in prison for guns, not in rehab.
