Question by Yvonne: how can your ex boyfriend, pick up & get a new girlfriend within a month?
after 4 years my boyfriend broke up with me in november. he broke my windshield in jan of 2010 at a gas station parking lot. the people inside called police. they filed charges for damaging it. he paid for a new one month later. then in august, he was living with his niece (who incidentally very mean, rude etc) and she and he got into it. she kicked him out…his mother called her to see if i could go on her property (she doesnt like me, wasnt “allowed” on her property) to help him get his things. she said yes to his mother, her grandma, as long as i dont go inside. she was acting really crazy and trying to start stuff with him. he tried to get her to stop, calm down. she even tried to fight with me (i have never even been in a fight in my whole life.) she eventually started to hit him as he was going in and out. she was trying to push him down the stairs from her mobile home, throwin stuff, acting nuts. he had taken and hidden quite a bit of stuff, she really got physical, he threw her off, she landed hard on the dirt. she called the police and they came to my place to arrest him. so, both court dates were on the same day. the first court date i didnt go, she never went to any. the d.a. told me that since i was subpeoned if the judge hadnt been out sick they would have issued a bench warrant. i am not a criminal at all, didnt want any trouble. so the rescheduled trial courtdate i went. the d.a. offered a plea (asked me if he should get jail) of probation and drug/alcohol screening, judge also added on to the plea bargain community service and a fine. the d.a. told me after that even thought the niece didnt show up for the battery charge, the plea was based on what they would charge a person who was found guilty for battery on a household member, not my misdemeanor damage to property. judge also ordered no contact w/me. he was so so so mad, he told mutual friends we were broken up. i was glad they ordered the alcohol and drug screening and then with that weekly group counseling things and counseling for his addictions. yes, he is not the best choice of people… ok, so …………… tonight i was supposed to go see our mutual friends band play. they are all his very close friends but we became close to and want to remain friends. they invited me to go listen. i talked to our friend to ask if he was there so i wont be surprised. he was. our friends also told me very gently he was introduced to his girlfriend and he had never seen her before. he was not the best boyfriend, and im probably better off…but it still hurts. he blames me for ruining his life. we talked 2x since court. he said that he still loves me, and thinks bout me every single day but wont ever ever be with me. …………………. …………….. now, he has a girlfriend. how easy is that!!!??????? i cant even think of dating anyone!! not in a relationship way at least. MAYBE maybe have a friend and if it goes further way down the line, good. but im really not over him. definately not ready. wow…….. i know you all cant see in his head, lol, but holy crap!!!
