Question by cenaschaingangbabe333: What are the meth laws in Oklahoma?
My stupid boyfriend was busted with possession of meth. He’s 17. I’ve looked everywhere and haven’t found anything that says how much time he’d get or what would happen. So can someone please tell me or give me an idea of how much time he’d get or if he’d just get a fine or whatever?

My advice is to get away from him as quickly as you can, your life will be hell with a meth user.

Question by You know me, I’m your friend: I have a question about the manufacturing meth laws back in the 1990s/early 2000s?
Were the consequences for manufacturing meth a lot less severe back in those days compared to now? I often wonder cause I remember seeing a lot of rolling meth labs on COPS back in the old days

Not really, while some states have increase the penalties the reason you don’t see them as often now is because the raw ingredients were a lot easier to come by back then.

My sister in law is a meth addict. How do I deal with her?
Posted by admin in Drug & Alcohol Laws on December 3, 2011
Question by cherry7evelyn: My sister in law is a meth addict. How do I deal with her?
My husband’s older sis has been addicted to meth since she was 13. All of us have tried to get her counseling and rehab, even church. Doesn’t work for her.
We moved 32 miles away from her and she still comes around harassing us every now and then to “visit” her daughter, whom we are taking care of now. She doesn’t even visit with her daughter, she just crashes out.
Sis in law always causes a scene in which the neighbors are yelling at her. Our house is in a peaceful drug free newer neighborhood. She is very rude and dirty.
My mother in law says we have to help with the little girl.
Sis in law destroys the house with her filthy two year old and lets him run in the streets, saggy diaper only.(Which upsets the neighbors of course) When I tell her to leave, my husband and his whole family call me and tell me I’m causing problems!!! It’s MY house!!
What do I do? My husband always sticks up for her, he says, “That’s my sister, she’s sick” When he does have serious talks with her she laughs it off and still comes over.
She knows I hate her, she just doesn’t care.

Meth, like many drugs, can be in powder form.
Drug users at concealing their habits. Many don’t want to walk around in clubs with pipes and butane lighters or spoons and straws. So they use things that everyone carries to get their drugs into them. A common item is a key, any key. They dip the key into the powder. Some powder gets caught in the edges of the key and they snort it off the key. Beats snorting off a dirty toilet seat.

I think it depends on the state and possibly the amount. In some states (like Texas for example) it automatically a felony no matter how much/little you have.
