This answer won’t get best answer, and I mean this with care, but….

As far as I know, all of the “homemade” remedies for detoxing are wives’ tales and don’t work. I’m sure you’ll have some answers that give them to you anyway. For the sake of staying out of the judicial system–I hope you find one that works.

I would think, however, that if you are broke, the best detox solution is to not buy any “smokes”. Problem solved.

My boyfriend just got taken to rehab from court today and they said he has 60 days to do, he was on probation and tested positive twice and he had two DUI’s (yes i know its bad) but can you leave rehab early for good behavior or something or will he have to stay for all 60 days were in pa.
i asked for answers not people to judge and he only smoked weed and drank ocasionally like you guys are the worse & no im not gonna leave him that would probably make him an alcholic after he gets out. n i know its not jail it was just a question with to many pple judging the asker

I was arrested for DUI, and am soon to be sentenced 2-7 days. What do I tell my 2 teenaged sons?

I was arrested in February while still married. Our divorce is now done, and we have joint physical custody. I have entered an out-patient treatment program for alcoholism. My kids have never seen me drink in excess, and rarely saw me drink at all. Yet I admit I am an alcoholic, and my wife is addicted to prescription drugs (she’s still in denial). How much do I tell my kids when they jail me for 2-7 days (probably) and I lose my license for a year? I want to give them the truth, but how much? And should I tell them this week before court? Neither my ex nor my kids even know about the arrest or treatment yet. I am committed to quiting. What and how much do I say?

If you had the choice between 30 days in county jail or drug court which would you chose?

Doesn’t it seem that someone in this situation should just go ahead and do the 30 dys and just get it over with?? I heard drug court is having to appear several times a week for about 2 yrs with random drug/alcohol screens? So to me, 30 days would be better to do? Both are not something anyone wants to do, but if you were convicted of a crime and had the choice.

Please if anyone was in this situation, I would appreciate your personal imput!!!
