there is about a 99.9% chance there is a warrant out for your arrest, what, do you think they are just going to forget about it? No way. You don’t just get “lost in the system”, whatever the hell that means.

When a restaurant records your ID in a paper log, when you order alcohol, is this shared with the police?

Question by Touch Blueprints: When a restaurant records your ID in a paper log, when you order alcohol, is this shared with the police?
I mean, immediately, and with other states- assuming a judge in another state has ordered you to have “no consumption of alcohol”? I’m referring to the paper on which they take down your driver’s license #, and ask you to sign? Like a sports bar.
Just hypothetically (I’m in a criminal justice class, where I need to know, right now).

If a judge orders someone to have no consumption of alcohol before a trial, how do they find out if you do?
Posted by admin in Court Ordered Rehabilitation on July 26, 2010
Question by Mark: If a judge orders someone to have no consumption of alcohol before a trial, how do they find out if you do?
Do they scan debit card purchases, or does it buzz them if your I.D. gets scanned to purchase it? Or, better yet, would they find out if a pre-employment drug test turned up positive for alcohol? Do they have access to that? I’m only asking because I suspect someone I know.
Thanks. I don’t know whether or not I want this person to get in trouble as we used to be friends, but had a bit of a falling out. Plus they think they can get away with anything, and that’s ridiculous.

They test you – in court. Before, during or after, as the judge sees fit. You’ll pay the expenses. No need for any other elaborate schemes.
Peace.

Can I turn orange juice or fruit into alcohol? Inmates save their juice and attempt to ferment?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on July 1, 2010
Okay, so I work in our county jail as a correctional officer. I have worked here for around 8 months now. Our jail is a smaller jail- holds around 30 inmates total. We give them orange juice for breakfast and also fruit every day- when we do cell searches we have to empty out any beverages they are attempting to save. We do this to prevent bugs and the smell, but also the inmates are attmepting to ferment this into alcohol. My question is how possible is this on such a small amount AND how long does it actually take at room temperature to turn juice and/or fruit into alcohol? How potent is the alcohol? Can a person become intoxicated on one 8 ounce glass?
haha. I just want to understand how it actually turns into alcohol without any help other than sitting in a cup? To me I would think it would just rot and eventually get mold if not removed. I really just want to know if it can turn into alcohol and if so the potency? Like, if an inmate managed to keep a cup of their orange juice for a long time, it get to the way they think it should be, they drink it- is that even enough to get them drunk??? It just seems like someone made it up to me.
What is required to bottle & sell alcohol in CA?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on June 29, 2010
I have created a new alcoholic beverage and would like to begin bottling and selling it to wholesalers in CA. I am wondering what kind of regulations and licensing is required for this kind of enterprise. I checked the Federal ATB website and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control website, but found no real information.
Why is alcohol illegal and marijauna not when Alcohol is the cause of much more deaths and crime. Stupid?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on June 29, 2010
Some studies suggest that near 50% of inmates in prison were intoxicated at the time they commited their crime.
Obviously drunk driving is a leading killer.
I’m not saying that alcohol should be illegal but since it is known to be much much more detrimental and harmful it’s unusual that marijuana is the one that is illegal.
In the United States, why isn’t alcohol required to have nutrition facts?
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on June 29, 2010
Every food you buy (except for produce) is required to have a nutrition facts label on the packaging. I’ve never seen soda, juice, milk, etc. without that label. So why is it that alcoholic beverages don’t have nutrition labels on them? (at least to tell you how many calories and all that?)
