I was unaware there were laws specifically addressing alcoholism. I thought that was more of a medical and social concern than a legal issue.

    Seriously, what laws are there concerning alcoholism?

    If you think there should be, might I suggest a law stating that everyone with the flu and aids be killed on the spot, I don’t want to get sick. Hey while we are at it, lets throw in the cancer people, would save on health care costs.

    edit: Kirk, why don’t you get off the computer and go back to trying to make fire. You obviously have not evolved past that stage yet.

    Yes… we should STOP treating it as a “disease” and punish it like the CRIME that it is.

    HOW MANY families have to suffer because people have CHOSEN to become addicts?

    How many CHILDREN have to pay the price for their parents being HORRIBLE role models, pathetic providers, or spending the food money on booze and cigarettes?

    How many people need to be killed on the roads because people CHOSE to get intoxicated?

    As soon as we called it a “disease”…… we started making excuses for bad behavior.
