I recieved a dui in orange county ca. The judge ordered me to attend an alcohol program. I was going steady for a few months until I got laid off from my job and could not afford the classes. What will be the punishment violating my probation?

No extensions or excuses accepted without court order. You need to petition the court asking for more time to complete the classes.

It is NOT a violation to fail to comply with probationary conditions due to financial inability. You should immediately go to your probation officer (if you have one) or to the court, and explain the problem. Be sure to have PROOF of your financial situation in order to show that you are unable to pay, and PROOF from the program that you were terminated due solely to failure to pay.
