Why Do We Have Drug Rehab When People Relapse?


And then end up right back in rehab, because they can’t manage to stay clean. Same thing with prisons, why do we even let people out on parole when 75/80% just end up back in the prison population and we the innocent victims have to be there waiting for their release back into the public.

Why do we do all these things for people that do not change.

    maybe it has someting to do with the AA motto……”keep coming back”….lol I never understood why rehab sends you to AA meetings when the meetings keep telling you to come back…lol seems that they would teach you and tell you to “don’t do wht it is that keeps you coming back here”…lol…just a simple suggestion…….”keep coming back”…..lol

    Just because G.W.Bush, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are using again doesn’t mean all addicts relapse.

    Rehab is usually an optional treatment.. and people usually pay a lot to go into it (at least in the US)

    I’m with you on the parole thing, I think that a person should be let out on parole ONCE at most.. not going in and out THREE times breaking parole orders.

    Well first of all, not ALL addicts relapse

    And 2nd of all not ALL criminals stay criminals after prison

    dont go so far into extremes, it really makes u sound idiotic and uneducated

    because, like liberals, some drug addicts never learn.
