NOPE…why is it NOW you decide to do something. Don’t you think the judge is going to know you are manipulating him?

You had three tries…and you failed.

Proposition 36 says that the law is lenient to 1st and 2nd time non-violent people who have been convicted of drug possession. According to the law, you will be sent to prison. BUT the decision is ALWAYS up to the judge and usually the judge goes by his/her discretion instead of going by exactly what the law states.

Turning yourself into a rehab is the best thing you can do right now. The judge will see that you are in rehab, and that sending you to prison would take you from rehab. Doing this would make no sense, because going to rehab is exactly what judges want to see for those who have been charged with drug possession. As long as you don’t have any violent charges against you, you have a good chance of not going to prison. Go into rehab as soon as possible. Follow through with the program, and stay drug free because that is what will keep you out of prison.

I hope everything works out for you!! Good luck in rehab. I wish you the best of luck.
