I am interested in starting a residential drug rehabilitation program. Is there funding available, and where?


I am interested in starting this program in the state of Georgia. It will consist of only males 25 years or older.
Also, what kind of requirements do I need to meet to receive funding?

    talk to your local salvation army, and your congressman they can help

    There is grant money for such projects. You need to research your local area in which you wish to start the program. You have to have a business plan to present with the grant. Getting someone who is experienced in writing grants will make the process less painful and more successful because these people know exactly what to say and and how to say it.

    have you checked the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAHMSA) web site? If i were you, i’d invest in a grant writer consultant to document your needs and to research the funding opportunities, as well as write the grant. good luck.
